"I'm not sure where you're going with that word, issues..." made me both wince and laugh out loud.

I have to say two things:

1) The editing probably favors the portrayal of the lowest common denominator of idiocy in our country.

2) =O OMG! Can we kick some of these people out? Or at least not let them vote? Can there be a political literacy test for voting?!

Call me a Leninist/Marxist/Socialist, but I am not convinced that every dingleberry with an opinion and the requisite time off work should be allowed to have a say in the future of America. I mean, look at 4chan. You want those guys to have a vote? I propose a notstupidocracy.

Saw this last night - I agree with Jolie that the editing is suggestive. And while there ARE Palin supporters with legit answers to those questions, it isn't shocking that they were able to amass so many clueless supporters for this video.

@Jolie,

While you have a point, it is edited, I am certain that if I filmed for an hour outside a Palin book signing I would have a good 30 mins of morons speaking.

If you were of the "lower classes" in the old days, you knew that you lacked education and insight. and you wanted to have that, at least for your children. Such a society has a built in upward movement.
This is midde class, slightly uncomfortabe with questions that ask for arguments, not opinions, and they claim their right not to be bothered in their ignorance. Such a society has a built in downward movement.
Good reminder of why a good conversation is better than just entertaining each other. And that social media are not good in them selves.

Not to mention this clip from Hannity where one of his guests forgets that 9/11 ever happened and says "We did not have a terrorist attack in this country in President Bush's term." --

There's a hilarious mash up of this video:

http://trueslant.com/harmonleon/2009/11/26/mash-up-sarah-palin-book-signingheavy-metal-parking-lot/

They took the Sarah Palin book signing and mixed with the cult classic film Heavy Metal Parking Lot.
Sarah Palin fans are as moronic as Judas Priest fans!

As a governor, you don't have much of a say on foreign policy. Regarding those answers, check out the responses Howard Stern got from Obama supporters. Go out into the public and you'll get crazy answers that can always be edited into a "boy are these people stupid" video. I hope she does run, and I hope she wins.
